Description
Casa de Carrera is a wood-and-stone construction that has retained elements of ancient Catalan architecture from the Middle Ages, including the original fireplace, the kitchen sink and the granary. The beams and the original floor were also preserved during the renovation, with the aim of making our guests' stay at Casa Carrera a truly unique cultural experience.
The house is distributed as follows:
Ground floor: Laundry room and complete bathroom
First floor: Kitchen, dining room and living room
Second floor: Bedrooms, reading nook, games for the children and full bathroom
"Lo Paller" bedroom: one double bed, room for a crib
"Lo Riu" bedroom: one double bed and one single bed
"Estels" bedroom: one double bed and one crib
"Rialles" bedroom: five single beds
The house formerly had a threshing floor. Today, the area has been converted into a barbecue zone with outdoor dining area and swingset. This independent outdoor area is a very pleasant place to spend time.

Activities
The region has a wide variety of activities on offer.
- Fishing
- Hiking: Innumerable routes
- Skiing: Espot and Baqueira (Bonaigüa) just 20 minutes away
- Standup paddleboarding and kayaking in the Torrassa reservoir, 10 minutes away
- Rafting: In Llavorsí, Sort. In Esterri d'Àneu there are several adventure sports companies, for those who prefer to go with a guide.
- Mountain biking: Guests can rent bicycles in Esterri d'Àneu, next to Unarre.

Interesting places
The surrounding region offers plenty of activities for the whole family. Casa de Carrera is just half an hour from the iconic natural park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici, with some of the most beautiful landscapes in Catalonia. Two well-known ski resorts, Espot and Bonaigüa, are also located 20 minutes away.
