25527 Barruera
Alta Ribagorça, Pyrenees
Casa Milagros has 6 double rooms with bathroom and TV, two kitchens, two living-dining rooms. We have central heating, hot water, a washing machine and typical local products for sale. On the ground floor of the building there is a small and cosy bar-and-restaurant where our clients can taste the best meats in the region, typical mountain dishes and homemade desserts, the majority of which are made by the owners.
The house is open all year round. On August 1st, Barruera observes its main celebration in honor of St. Feliu, the patron of the village. A small wrought iron cross in the center of the town stands as a testament to the ancient Via Crucis, a religious celebration that was one of the oldest in Catalonia. Lost for more than 40 years, this custom was recovered four years ago and is a must-see if you are here in August.
