25591 Masies de Llaràs, Peramea
Pallars Sobirà, Pyrenees
La Morera is an ancient farmhouse in the municipality of Baix Pallars, in the Pallars Sobirà. The farmhouse is built with Romanesque influence and has a threshing floor in the middle. The former area that housed the haystacks has been renovated to create La Morera guesthouse.
The property is located outside of the urban nucleus. The nearest village is Peramea, where some 50 neighbours live.
The house has two floors. Passing through the small patio on the ground floor, there is a lounge with a table and chairs. This floor also houses the dining room, the kitchen, a bathroom and a small TV room with a sofa. Upstairs, there are three rooms (one with a double bed, another with a double and single bed, and a third one with one single bed). This floor also has a bathroom.
We pride ourselves on offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Depending on the season, your mornings and evenings may be serenaded by birdsong. The house also boasts stunning views of the Serra de Boumort, a natural reserve, whose native deer population brings us its love songs in autumn. The sky is magnificent year-round, but especially in the winter.
What more can we say about our house... we invite you to make yourself at home!
We can provide information about local sights and activities, and if you need anything else, we are happy to help!
You can visit our textile workshop, where we make unique pieces using a low-grade loom and where we have also a homemade knitting machine that allows us to work a little bit faster. We spin with a wheel and with and axle and, if you're interested, we can introduce you to the world of wool. Learn more about our activities with one of our workshops - we also make natural soaps!
The house is located in a beautiful setting that's ideal for exploring on foot.
Approximately 1.5 km away from La Morera lies the walled town of Peramea, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest (BCIN). Here you can find the Era d'Ortega, from where you can take guided tours of the village (the forge, the jail, the cellar...).
Gerri de la Sal, also declared a Cultural Good of National Interest, is home to the Salt Museum, the Alfolí (monumental building) or the Santa Maria Abbey.
And, of course, you can choose to stay at home, relaxing and looking at the sky!
You can reach us via La Pobla de Segur, following the N260 road that crosses the town longitudinally.
Once you arrive in Gerri de la Sal, a local road takes you to Peramea.
Then, leaving the village, on your left you will find the path that takes you to Masies de Llaràs.
