Vila Closa consists of 2 fully equipped apartments, each with a capacity for 4 people. We also offer a wellness area, a space dedicated to wine tourism, and a private outdoor patio.

Llúpia

A "Llúpia" was a typical construction in the Pyrenees, similar to a barn but with one wall open, usually the south-facing wall. We have endeavoured to preserve the essence of this particular exemplar by combining wood and glass to achieve the effect of transparence and luminosity. The apartment has one quadruple room, one double room, a bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a room with beamed ceilings. It is designed with a focus on comfort and wellness, while maintaining the original stone walls and wooden beams that are typical of the region.

Paller

"Paller" is the Catalan term for a barn where hay is stored. Because this barn was more than 8 metres tall, we have chosen to divide it into two storeys. On the ground floor are the the kitchen-living room and a bathroom, while the top floor has two double bedrooms. One of the walls is part of the fortified northern tower, giving it high historic importance.

Wellness

The ground floor of the Llúpia originally housed sheep. In the present day, it has been transformed into a spa and the Vila Closa reception area. This special part of the house forms part of the medieval history of the village of Escaló, as it contains a 13th-century wall that formed part of the village fortifications. We have created an intimate and welcoming space with a focus on wellbeing and tranquility, featuring water as the protagonist. Our wellness circuit includes a 7-person spa with 49 jets, a dry sauna, cold and hot showers, and a relaxation area where guests can sit back and enjoy the complete wellness experience.
