Accommodations

Apartaments La Canal is a house located in the village of Alins, consisting of 3 independent rural accommodations.

The house has 3 independent rural accommodations, with a kitchen, dining room, two double bedrooms and a bathroom.

There is also a TV with DVD and central heating with gas oil.

All of the apartments hold the Environmental Quality Assurance Certificate from the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, a toaster, a fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave, as well as cookware (dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, etc.).

Guests are welcome to visit our farm animals: hens, chickens, pigs (in autumn) and cows.

Hiking: At Vallferrera we have some of the highest peaks in Catalonia (Pica d'Estats, Monteixo, Salòria), with beautiful forests and landscapes that are ideal for a walk with the whole family.

Services: In Alins there is a public swimming pool open every day throughout the summer.

Festivities: We celebrate two major village festivals: the Festa Major de Sant Joan, with the popular Baixada de Falles (a torch procession) on June 23 from the Ermita de Sant Quirc; and the Festa Major d'Hivern (Winter Village Festival), celebrated on St. Vincent's Day (January 22).

The annual celebration of the Fira del Ferro Pirinenc (Pyrenean Iron Fair) is celebrated the second weekend of July, with demonstrations on forging iron, an artesan's market, etc.

We recommend visiting the hill of Sant Quirc, home to the hermitage of the same name, from where you can enjoy magnificent views of the village and some of the surrounding mountains.

Also noteworthy is the Colomer de les Bruixes (Witches' Dovecote), located on the other side of the river. This ancient defense tower was recently restored as a vantage point.

To get to Alins, from the C-13 highway, once in Llavorsí take the turnoff towards the L-504 and continue until the next roundabout, where you take the turnoff towards the L-510, passing through Araós, Ainet de Besan and finally to Alins.

Our house is located at the top of La Canal street, the second street on the right after the Plaça Major, direction Àreu.
