The area offers a wide variety of activities throughout the year. In terms of history and culture, there are several medieval castles to visit — the closest and best-preserved being the Castle of Mur, as well as the Castle of Llordà and the Castle of Sant Gervàs.
For hiking enthusiasts, there are many well-marked routes, including several that start directly from the house. Notable places of interest include the Mont-rebei Gorge, Les Tombetes (ruins of a medieval village), the Roca Regina viewpoint, the Sant de Bosc hermitage, and numerous trails throughout the Montsec mountain range.
Adventure activities in the area include kayaking on the Terradets or Sant Antoni reservoirs, climbing, paragliding from Montsec d’Ares, and increasingly popular mountain biking routes. The Lo Podall territory is especially well known for its cycling trails.
Wine tourism and gastronomy are two essential pillars of tourism in the area. Wine production and sales are relatively new, but the quality is high thanks to a longstanding tradition of winemaking for personal use, now becoming more professional.
Traditional, locally sourced food plays a key role in a region where agriculture and livestock are present, and where recipes tell stories of its history and roots.
Finally, the area's clear skies make it ideal for stargazing and exploring the universe. Those who want to learn more can visit the Montsec Astronomical Park.
