Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of gift vouchers sold through this online shop, which may be redeemed for stays in rural accommodations associated with Lleida Rural.
The purchase of a gift voucher implies express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Gift voucher characteristics

  • The gift voucher has a specific monetary value, indicated at the time of purchase.
  • It is delivered in digital format via email.
  • It can only be redeemed for stays in rural accommodations affiliated with Lleida Rural.
  • It cannot be exchanged for cash, either partially or in full.

4. Validity and expiration

  • The gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Once expired, the voucher will lose all validity and may not be used, with no right to a refund.

5. Conditions of use and redemption

  • Use of the gift voucher is subject to availability at the chosen rural accommodation.
  • A prior reservation is required, indicating the gift voucher code.
  • The voucher may be subject to date restrictions (high season, long weekends, public holidays), which will be communicated before purchase or at the time of booking.
  • If the total cost of the stay exceeds the value of the voucher, the beneficiary must pay the difference.
  • If the total cost is less than the voucher value, no refund will be given and any remaining balance may not be used for another booking.

6. Cancellation and modification policy

  • Reservations made with a gift voucher are subject to the cancellation policy of each accommodation.
  • No-shows or cancellations outside the established deadline will result in the total loss of the gift voucher.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be modified or extended once issued, except in duly justified cases of force majeure accepted by Lleida Rural.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the right of withdrawal shall not apply when the gift voucher has been used or is intended for accommodation services for a specific date or period.

However:

  • The purchaser may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that the voucher has not been redeemed or used to make a reservation.
  • To exercise this right, written notice must be sent to the indicated email address, including the order number.

8. Prices and taxes

  • All prices displayed on the website include VAT and other applicable taxes, unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • The final price will be the one shown at the time of completing the purchase.

9. Payment methods

Payment for gift vouchers may be made using the payment methods enabled in the online shop, ensuring transaction security at all times.

10. Liability

Lleida Rural shall not be liable for:

  • Improper or fraudulent use of the gift voucher.
  • The inability to redeem the voucher due to causes beyond the organization’s control (force majeure, temporary closure of the accommodation, health-related reasons or similar).
  • Loss of the gift voucher or its code by the purchaser or beneficiary.

11. Data protection

Personal data provided during the purchase process will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
For the resolution of any disputes that may arise, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of the consumer’s place of residence, in accordance with current regulations.
